The Nigel Sylvester x AJ1 Low OG ‘Better With Time’ draws inspiration from an unreleased AJ1 High gifted to the BMX star in 2022. Its black tumbled leather upper is deliberately distressed with abrasions and scuff marks, echoing the wear-and-tear of an active rider. A woven “Bike AR” tag on the Muslin nylon tongue ties in with the Check and Wings logo on the heel tab, both finished in the same muted tone. An embroidered mini logo on the forefoot adds subtle detail, while the design is completed by aged off-white sidewalls and a pre-worn Varsity Red outsole, giving the sneaker a lived-in aesthetic straight out of the box.
