Coinciding with the opening of the first-ever J Brand store in the Philippines, the extremely exclusive AJ4 Retro ‘Manila’ (Special Box) pays tribute to the Philippines and its passion for MJ and basketball. The shoe features shades of green on the ostrich leather tongues, suede panels, and pebbled leather toe overlays, reflecting the tropical islands. Black accents appear on the mid-foot, cages, sock liners, tongue branding, and heel counters, with pops of yellow on the J logo, tongue branding, and mid-foot tab spelling “Manila.” Each pair is numbered out of 150, with a yellow hangtag featuring the “Manila” moniker. The midsole combines off-white and black with red and blue accents nodding to the Philippines’ flag.
