In a groundbreaking move back in 2005, Undefeated broke barriers by securing the first exclusive partnership with J Brand, resulting in the creation of the iconic AJ4 Retro x Undefeated 2005 ‘UNDFTD’. Drawing inspiration from the rugged aesthetic of the MA-1 Flight jacket, this rendition boasts an oily olive suede and nubuck upper adorned with striking black and orange accents. Paying homage to its military roots, the design features a unique Velcro tongue patch. Limited to a mere 72 pairs, distribution was tightly controlled, with some released via in-store raffles and others through an online auction. The remaining units were reserved exclusively for Friends & Family. Today, this collaboration with UNDFTD remains one of the most sought-after and elusive AJ4 iterations in sneaker lore.
