With the release of the sacai x JPG x N1ke VaporWaffle ‘Sesame,’ a venerated French fashion label is added to a creative partnership that dates back to 2015, and fully took flight with the debut of the LDWaffle in 2019. That shoe’s successor, the VaporWaffle, is updated here with a mid-cut collar and prominent baseball-style stitching. The khaki textile upper is overlaid with suede paneling in beige, green and yellow, and accented with double-layered leather ticks in blue and orange. Dual N1ke and sacai branding lands on the heel tab and doubled-up tongue tags, while ‘JPG’ is stamped on the sockliner. The sneaker is mounted on a double-stacked foam midsole, featuring split heel construction and N1ke’s classic waffle tread underfoot.
